Our teaching faculty exceeds the certification requirements mandated by the Michigan Department of Education and our Authorizers. CSA teachers enjoy the benefits of working in a collaborative environment where they are encouraged to reach their full potential as professional educators. Shared decision making is important to achieving CSA and respective Academies' missions, goals, and objectives.
Our support staff is characterized by a strong work ethic, dedication to creating an environment conducive to academic learning and personal growth, and loyalty to going above and beyond the call of duty. Support staff positions include: Playground Aide, Teacher's Aide, Office Professional, Child Care Aide, Food Service Aide, Maintenance, and Transportation. While the majority of our Teacher Aides are certified to teach in the State of Michigan, the basic requirement is a two-year degree from a college or university. Bus Drivers are required to have a current Michigan Commercial Driver's License with the Passenger and Air Brakes endorsements.
To join Choice Schools Associates family in a teaching or support staff role, please submit a cover letter accompanied by your current resume, your current and valid teaching certificate or 90-day letter from your college or university (teacher candidates only), your academic transcripts from all educational establishments attended (official transcripts are not needed), and at least 5 professional references. You may download an official application to include with your application materials or you will be mailed an official application for employment with Choice Schools Associates after you have submitted your letter of application and attachments. Upon receipt of your letter of application, attachments, and Choice Schools Associates' application for employment, your file will be considered active and you will be considered for available positions at all of our Academies.

We require federal and state criminal background checks of all potential employees as well as certification of professional conduct from former employers. Our transportation professionals are required to undergo drug screenings and physicals.
